Are you looking for fabrics for autumn-winter? These are the latest trends

Publicado el 4 September, 2017

As summer draws to a close, we are already preparing for the upcoming Autumn-Winter season, taking note of the trends that will be followed during the colder months of the year. In this post, we will explain the fabrics, cuts, and styles that will be popular this autumn so you don't miss any details. And if you want to know more about us, don't forget to visit us at waixo.com.

Velvet

Velvet is a fabric that has never gone out of fashion, but this year, more than ever, this distinctive fabric is here to stay in our wardrobes during the autumn-winter season. This trend is so strong that at Waixo, we wanted to join in by offering the best of velvet with our Retro Velvet fabric, and with Velvet Corduroy which you can find in thousands of colors.

Fur and shearling

Coats with fur on the collar and lapel will be a trend this winter, perfect for protecting us from the cold that will accompany us in these months.

Fashionable colors

One of the main key elements in a garment is its color. This is something we at Waixo understand very well, which is why we work daily to achieve prints with the highest color fidelity. For this, we have color charts that you can order via info@waixo.com and a team that diligently works on your designs to avoid unpleasant surprises.

And if you want to know which colors will be trending this season, we can also answer that: navy blue, camel, and red have been the big winners on the runways, as you can see in the following examples.

The prints that will be in style

As we previously announced, at Waixo we keep a close eye on print trends, and we also offer textile graphic design services (if you want to know more, send us an email to info@waixo.com). Therefore, we'll give you a sneak peek at some of the print trends we'll see this autumn-winter: the "Abstract Animal" theme will triumph, combining contemporary art with classic animal print, seeking to give our garments an artistic touch with a minimalist and modern aesthetic. Floral patterns and typographic motifs will also be popular.
