Printed fabrics: This is how celebrities wear them
Publicado el 16 August, 2017
If you are looking for fabrics to print on, either with your own designs or with one from our community, you will surely be interested in knowing the possibilities offered by digital printing and the importance of creativity when it comes to designing. That is why from Waixo we have decided to take a look at the different prints that celebrities have been wearing in recent months -animal prints, floral prints, abstract prints...- to inspire you. As soon as you know which print you want, do not forget to visit our website or contact us through info@waixo.com or by calling +94 466 67 91.
We begin our review of prints by highlighting the most daring bets, which could well be an option to consider if you want to bet on a differentiating brand. We include here the dog print dress worn by actress Elle Fanning – “Super 8”, “Maleficent” – which evokes 80s nerd culture in a sky blue tone signed by Dolce&Gabana. The elegant French-style pattern of the dress, as can be seen in its sleeve and fitted shape, contrasts with the uniqueness of this characteristic print.

Continuing with Elle Fanning and eye-catching prints, we recall the dress she wore at the last edition of the Cannes Film Festival: a long white Vivienne Westwood dress with a peculiar print on the tail with manual motifs and strokes.
Also from Dolce&Gabana is the mini dress with a hydrangea print that Kendall Jenner wore at the Veuve Clicquot Polo Classic 2017 sports event. This floral print has served as inspiration for the brand's latest collection, of which we saw its most discreet side in model Miranda Kerr's dress at an event in Los Angeles. This collection once again makes it clear that floral prints never go out of style. Therefore, we invite you to see this type of prints on our website. In addition, if you want to print any of the designs with us, you can indicate the color and size changes you deem appropriate by writing to info@waixo.com.

We have also been able to enjoy the patchwork effect, which is achieved by combining different prints in the same garment, in Emily Ratajkowski's bohemian Attico maxi-dress. To her right, Paula Echevarria wears a tropical print dress by Dolores Promesas.

Another dress that placed all its charm and prominence on the print is the one worn by the other Disney girl Zendaya (whom we will soon see in a new Spiderman reboot) at this year's MET gala, held last May. The dress, again by Dolce&Gabanna, combined a floral print with parrot drawings on a shiny fabric. If you want a similar effect on your printed fabrics, visit our website and among our cotton, polyester and polyamide fabrics, select the Raso Amsterdam among the fabrics for dresses... You'll love it!

At the same MET gala, we saw Daisy Ridley (Star Wars' Rey) in a black and white printed dress by Oscar de la Renta, with floral inspiration. We also saw this two-tone bet in Alessandra Rich's polka dots worn by Nicole Kidman at the New Jersey Polo. This type of finish can be obtained through digital textile printing, but if you have doubts about the result, do not hesitate to contact us by writing to info@waixo.com.

We close our review of the latest printed fabrics seen at celebrity galas and events, with the light blue horse print dress that has starred in many of the "street style" of the latest fashion shows. Long and airy, the dress is signed by Baum und Pferdgarten and is an example of how a simple print and pattern can be a winning combination. If you want a similar finish, do not forget to visit our fabrics, where you can print your own design.
