The base fabric is the Waterproof Windbreaker Fabric - Target, a technical fabric made of 100% polyester with a weight of 116 gr/m2 and a width of 145 cm. This fabric is waterproof and has a thin texture to the touch. The solid color printed is potato yellow, with a Cyan ink of 9, Magenta of 4, Yellow of 37 and Black of 0, which translates to a CMYK of 9 4 37 0. This color is vibrant and is associated with energy and luminosity, reminiscent of potato pulp. It combines perfectly with neutral tones such as black, white, and gray, as well as with warm tones such as orange and red.
It is important to note that the fabric is printed with the solid color on one side using digital textile printing, which means that the fabric is not dyed but printed on one side. In terms of its general characteristics, the fabric stands out for being waterproof and having a thin texture, which makes it ideal for use in outerwear such as jackets and down jackets for winter. In addition, its application includes its use in sportswear for women, men, and children, as well as in raincoats.
Regarding the care of the fabric, it is important to note that the garment should not be bleached, it should be washed at a maximum temperature of 40ºC, it does not allow dry cleaning, it should be ironed at a cold temperature, and it cannot be tumble dried. It is essential to follow these instructions to maintain the quality and appearance of the fabric for longer.
Finally, the printing technology used in this fabric is sublimation (polyester), a technique that allows printing images and colors on fabrics in high definition, achieving an excellent finish and high fidelity in color reproduction. This technique is applied using heat and pressure, transferring the ink from the paper to the fabric in a process that guarantees high print quality and color durability.
