At Waixo, you can stamp or print your own designs, photographs, illustrations, positional designs, repeats, and anything else you can imagine onto fabric. We have selected and tested fabrics prepared for high-quality digital printing at very competitive prices, with over 40 base fabrics to choose from to best suit your project. Select from recycled, sustainable fabrics, from Góngora gauze for brightly colored scarves to recycled PET canvas ideal for backpacks, bags, and items that experience significant wear and tear.
But what is Digital Textile Printing? Digital Textile Printing is a technology that allows a digital design to be transferred to fabric. Depending on the type of fibers in the base fabric, different technologies are used to achieve a personalized fabric with your designs. For printing on Synthetic and/or Recycled Fibers, we opt for Textile Sublimation with a one-week delivery time and with Express and Urgent Services options for productions that cannot wait, with a commitment to manufacturing in 24H or 48H depending on the selected service. This printing uses Ecological Inks with OEKO-Tex Certificate, which are water-based inks that achieve spectacular results. For Digital Printing on Fabrics containing natural fibers, the technology we use is Direct Digital Printing. This technology combines traditional essential processes with the latest advances in digital printing to achieve a professional and high-quality product. Natural fiber fabrics must be pre-treated, then the fabric is printed using direct digital printing, and subsequently, the color is fixed using steamers and given the final finish through natural washing and drying. And this professional process, yes, takes time, which is why we give a period of 25 working days for this type of fiber. You will find solutions on the market that offer Cotton fabric (natural fiber in general) in a few days, and if you require the fabric for domestic work, it may be an option to consider, but pigment printing does not offer a highly durable solution for rubbing and washing. Therefore, at Waixo, we always advise opting for reactive ink printing for projects that need to offer guarantees in terms of their resistance to rubbing and washing.
But if you are a Fashion Brand or Professional Designer and have the responsibility of offering a product with guarantees (good finish and resistant to rubbing and washing), the option you should adopt is the one we propose here. Therefore, we work mainly with Designers and Fashion Brands, providing them with the professional solutions that the sector requires. The difference between Digital Printing on Polyamides and Digital Printing on Cotton (or other natural fibers) is the type of ink used; reactive ink is used on natural fibers and acid ink on polyamides, along with some differences in pretreatments and post-printing processes. Digital Textile Printing is the best formula to close the textile circle, using base fabrics in natural fibers and through environmentally friendly technology.
If you opt for synthetic fibers, mainly polyester, the technology to use to transfer your graphic design to fabric is Textile Sublimation. The Textile Sublimation process is a two-step process: first, the digital design is printed on paper prepared to accept water-based inks (prepared for sublimation), and then it is stamped on equipment that passes the fabric against the paper at a specific temperature, pressure, and speed depending on the fabric. At Waixo, we pre-test the fabrics and offer you those that will have a perfect response to these processes, achieving a high-quality finish. We guarantee that, at Waixo, we work with 4 passes of ink (high quality) and low stamping speeds (to achieve the high quality that our customers demand).
