The base fabric is the fine water-repellent fabric - Storm, a technical fabric made of 100% polyester with a weight of 70 gr/m2 and a width of 145 cm. The plain printed color is Lust Red, with a CMYK of 8 97 94 1. This color has an intense and seductive tone, with a hint of magenta that makes it very vibrant. It combines perfectly with neutral tones such as white, black, and gray, as well as with dark greens and purples.
It should be noted that the fabric is printed with the plain color on one side using digital textile printing, which means it is not a dyed fabric but printed on one side. This printing technology allows for precise and durable finishes in a wide variety of designs, with vibrant colors and sharp details.
Regarding the general characteristics, the base fabric has a waterproof finish that makes it resistant to water and humidity, as well as a thin and soft texture to the touch. For its part, the plain color is water-repellent and smooth to the touch, which gives it an elegant and attractive finish.
The applications and uses of this type of fabric are varied, from fashion to home textiles and sports. In fashion, it is used for both womens and mens jackets, while in home textiles it is used for shower curtains for bathrooms. In sports, it is used for raincoats and jackets for women, men, or children.
Regarding care, it is important to wash the garment at a maximum temperature of 40ºC, do not bleach it, do not dry clean it or tumble dry it, and iron it at a cool temperature. This will ensure the durability of the fabric and prevent its premature deterioration.
Finally, the printing technology used in this type of fabric is sublimation, a process in which the design is transferred through heat and pressure from a special ink onto the polyester fabric. This process allows for a precise and vibrant finish, with high resistance to wear and fading.
