Description

The base fabric is the fine water-repellent fabric - Storm, a technical polyester fabric with a weight of 70 gr/m2 and a width of 145 cm. The plain printed color is Bougainvillea, which is achieved through the combination of Cyan ink at 15%, Magenta at 84%, Yellow at 27%, and Black at 3%. This color is an intense pink tone, symbolizing passion and energy. It particularly combines with neutral tones such as gray and white, as well as with warmer tones such as red and orange.

It is important to note that the base fabric is printed with the plain color on one side using digital textile printing, which means that the reverse side of the fabric may have a different color or be white. This printing technique allows for the reproduction of designs with great definition and detail, and is especially suitable for technical fabrics like this one.

Regarding general characteristics, the base fabric has a waterproof finish that makes it suitable for rainwear and accessories. In addition, it has a thin and smooth texture to the touch. On the other hand, the plain printed color is resistant to fading and wear, so garments or products made with this fabric maintain their color intensity for longer.

As for the applications and uses of the base fabric, its use in fashion garments, such as jackets for women and men, as well as in home textile products, such as shower curtains, stands out. In addition, it is ideal for making raincoats for both adults and children. Its use is especially indicated in winter, due to its high impermeability.

It is important to keep in mind that to properly care for this type of fabric, the instructions provided must be followed. It is not suitable to bleach the fabric, and its washing should be at a maximum temperature of 40ºC. The garment is not suitable for dry cleaning and should be ironed at a cold temperature. In addition, it cannot be tumble dried.

Finally, the printing technology used in this fabric is sublimation, which consists of transferring a printed design through heat to the surface of the fabric. This allows for high definition and detail in the designs, which combined with the technical characteristics of the base fabric results in a high-quality and durable final product.
