The base fabric is the Fine Water-Repellent Fabric - Storm, made of 100% polyester with a weight of 70 gr/m2 and a width of 145 cm. The chosen plain color is matte pink, with a CMYK of 0 74 36 0, which means it is mainly composed of magenta and yellow tones, with a low percentage of cyan and no black. This color stands out for its soft and feminine hue, which combines perfectly with other natural colors such as beige or white.
It should be noted that this fabric is printed with the plain color on one side using digital textile printing, which means it is not a dyed fabric but printed on one side. This achieves a more detailed and sharp finish, with a uniform color and no interference.
Regarding the general characteristics, the base fabric has a waterproof and water-repellent finish, making it perfect for outerwear and sportswear. In addition, its thin and smooth texture makes it a soft fabric to the touch and easy to sew.
Among the most outstanding applications and uses of this base fabric, we find mens and womens fashion, especially for jackets and raincoats. It is also used in home textiles, such as shower curtains, as well as in sportswear such as jackets and coats.
As for the care of this base fabric, it is important not to use bleach and to wash at a maximum temperature of 40°C. It cannot be dry cleaned or tumble dried, and it is recommended to iron at a cool temperature.
Finally, this base fabric is manufactured with sublimation printing technology, which means that special inks are used that turn into gas when they come into contact with the fabric and are fixed on its surface. Thanks to this technique, a high image quality and durability of the printed color are achieved.
