The base fabric is the Fine Water-Repellent Fabric - Storm, a technical fabric composed of 100% polyester with a weight of 70 gr/m2 and a width of 145 cm. The plain color printed on the fabric is Bonbon Pink, with a CMYK of 0 83 0 0. This color symbolizes femininity, sweetness, and sensitivity, while technically being water-repellent and waterproof. Bonbon pink pairs very well with white, light gray, and skin tone. It is important to mention that the fabric is single-sided printed using digital textile printing, which means the color is present only on one of the surfaces.
Regarding the general characteristics, the base fabric is thin to the touch and smooth in texture. Furthermore, as we have already mentioned, it is waterproof and water-repellent. On the other hand, the bonbon pink color is characterized by being bright and having a satin appearance. It is worth noting that the fabric is designed for use in jackets, shower curtains, raincoats, and bomber jackets, for men, women, and children, which indicates its versatility and resistance.
As for the care instructions for maintaining this fabric, it is essential not to bleach and to wash with water at a maximum temperature of 40ºC. In addition, the garment does not allow dry cleaning and should be ironed at a cool temperature. It is important to avoid tumble drying the fabric to prolong its useful life.
Finally, the printing technology used to manufacture the Fine Water-Repellent Fabric - Storm is sublimation (polyester), a process that consists of printing the desired image on special paper and transferring it to the fabric using heat and pressure. This process ensures superior image resolution and durability compared to other fabric printing techniques.
