The fine water-repellent fabric - Storm, made of technical fabric and 100% polyester composition, has a weight of 70 gr/m2 and a width of 145 cm. As for its plain printed color, it has an amber brown tone, with a CMYK of 27 57 62 20. This color is characterized by its strong presence, as it is a tone that symbolizes earth, warmth, and stability.
Amber brown is a secondary color composed of the union of red, orange, and yellow, which makes it a very versatile tone and easily combinable with colors such as beige, white, black, and also with more cheerful tones like yellow or green. This color is perceived as a warm, earthy, and natural color, making it perfect for representing elements of nature in clothing and home objects.
It is important to note that this fabric is printed with the plain color on one side only by digital textile printing, which means that only one of its sides will have this amber brown tone. As for its general characteristics, this base fabric has a waterproof and water-repellent finish, and presents a thin and smooth texture to the touch.
Regarding the applications and uses of this fabric, we find that it is very suitable for mens and womens fashion, in garments such as jackets and raincoats. It is also ideal for shower curtains in the home and in winter sports items, such as jackets and coats. In addition, the printing technology used makes it perfect for creating personalized printed designs.
To ensure greater durability of the fabric, certain specific care must be taken into account, such as not bleaching, washing at a maximum temperature of 40°C, ironing at a cold temperature, avoiding dry cleaning, and not tumble drying.
The printing technology used to manufacture this fabric is sublimation (polyester), a process that allows high-quality and sharp printing, through the transfer of colors from a special printed paper, directly onto the fabric. This process is ideal for synthetic fabrics such as polyester, as it allows colors to be absorbed deeply and intensely.
