The base fabric, known as Fine Water-Repellent Fabric - Storm, is a technical polyester fabric with a weight of 70 gr/m2 and a width of 145 cm. This fabric features a waterproof and water-repellent finish, making it suitable for manufacturing winter and sportswear such as windbreakers, raincoats, and jackets. It has a delicate feel and a thin, smooth texture.
The secondary color printed on this fabric is Clay Brown, which has been achieved using the sublimation technique and obtained through a combination of cyan (25), magenta (64), yellow (51), and black (17) inks, with a final result of 25 64 51 17 in the CMYK scale. This color is a warm and attractive tone that combines very well with neutral colors like white or black, and also with oxidized or golden tones.
It is important to note that the fabric is digitally printed with the plain color on one side, which means that the print is on only one side of the fabric, specifically the one that has been printed using a digital process.
Among the general characteristics of the base fabric, its water-repellent capacity stands out, making it ideal for garments used in humid weather. In addition to its resistance, this fabric has a soft feel and a thin, smooth texture that gives it an elegant appearance.
Regarding its applications and uses, the Fine Water-Repellent Fabric - Storm is suitable for manufacturing winter clothing, such as jackets and windbreakers, as well as for making shower curtains. Likewise, its waterproof finish makes it suitable for sportswear such as raincoats and jackets.
Regarding the care instructions for this fabric, it is important to remember that it should not be bleached, dry cleaning is not allowed, the maximum washing temperature is 40ºC, and ironing should be done at a cool temperature. Furthermore, it cannot be tumble dried.
Finally, the Fine Water-Repellent Fabric - Storm is printed using the sublimation technique, which consists of applying the ink in gas form onto the fabric, allowing for excellent definition of lines and details, as well as a high level of fidelity in color reproduction.
