The base fabric is a fine, water-repellent technical fabric called Storm, made of 100% polyester with a grammage of 70 gr/m2 and a width of 145 cm. The plain printed color is a sandstone brown, with a CMYK content of 19 cyan, 47 magenta, 54 yellow, and 7 black. This secondary color symbolizes serenity and harmony; the color of the earth provides a sense of stability and connection with nature. Combined with other colors, such as green and blue, it creates a feeling of calm and relaxation in the mind. The fabric is digitally printed with the plain color on one side, so it is not a dyed fabric but printed on one side.
The general characteristics of the base fabric and the plain printed color are varied. The base fabric has a waterproof and water-repellent finish, and presents a thin and smooth texture, making it very comfortable to the touch. For its part, the plain printed color has a matte finish and spectacular color sharpness.
Among the attributes of the base fabric, its applications and uses in fashion stand out, where it is ideal for jackets for both men and women, in home textiles for shower curtains, as well as in winter sports for raincoats and jackets. This technical fabric is very versatile and adapts to multiple uses, so it can also be used in other areas.
Regarding fabric care, it is important to take into account the manufacturers recommendations, which include not bleaching, washing at a maximum temperature of 40ºC, not dry cleaning, ironing with cold temperature, and avoiding tumble drying.
Finally, the printing technology used in the manufacture of this fabric is sublimation (polyester), which allows for high-quality printing, offering a resistant and durable finish. It is a chemical process that uses heat and pressure to transfer the design printed on a sheet of paper to the fabric, resulting in a crisp and bright print.
