The Fine Water-Repellent Fabric - Storm is a technical fabric made of 100% polyester, with a weight of 70 gr/m2 and a width of 145 cm. This fabric has a waterproof and water-repellent finish that makes it perfect for use in water sports or for making outdoor clothing for the winter season. The solid printed color used in this fabric is a light orange, with a CMYK of 11 42 76 2, which is characterized by being bright and vibrant. It is a cheerful and jovial shade that conveys vitality and dynamism. This color combines especially well with olive green, brown, and beige tones.
It is important to note that the fabric is printed with the solid color on one side using digital textile printing, which means it is not a dyed fabric but printed on one side. This implies that the color does not fade over time. Additionally, the fabric has a smooth and thin finish, making it soft to the touch and comfortable to wear.
Among the general characteristics of the base fabric, its water resistance and its ability to repel moisture stand out. These properties make it ideal for use in water sports or for manufacturing outdoor clothing that must protect against rain and snow. Also, thanks to its lightness and thin weight, this fabric is perfect for making summer garments such as pants or shorts. In terms of uses and applications, this fabric is ideal for making winter jackets, bath curtains, and raincoats for women, men, and children.
Regarding care, it is important to note that this fabric should not be bleached and does not allow dry cleaning. It is recommended to wash at a maximum temperature of 40ºC and iron at a cool temperature. As for drying, the use of a tumble dryer is not recommended.
Finally, regarding printing technology, the sublimation technique (polyester) is used to manufacture this printed fabric. This technique involves transferring the design from special paper to the fabric using heat and pressure, which guarantees excellent quality and durability in the print.
