Fine Water-Repellent Fabric - Storm

The base fabric is the Fine Water-Repellent Fabric - Storm, made of 100% polyester with a weight of 70 gr/m2 and a width of 145 cm. The plain printed color is Fire Engine Red with a ink content of 12% Cyan, 97% Magenta, 86% Yellow, and 3% Black, resulting in an intense and vibrant red hue. This secondary color evokes strength, action, risk, and fire, and pairs especially well with other shades of red, orange, yellow, and gray.

It is important to mention that this fabric is printed with the plain color on one side only using digital textile printing, which means the color has been transferred onto the base fabric through high-resolution digital printing. The fabric is not dyed, but printed on one side.

General characteristics of the base fabric include a finish that makes it waterproof and water-repellent, making it an ideal choice for fashion garments such as jackets, as well as shower curtains and sports raincoats. Additionally, its thin and smooth texture offers a soft and pleasant feel against the skin.

Among the applications and uses of this fabric, we find those already mentioned, as well as its possible use in sportswear for women, men, and children, especially in jackets and coats for winter seasons. It could also be used in the manufacture of pet accessories such as collars, harnesses, and training equipment.

Regarding the care instructions for this fabric, it is recommended not to use bleach, wash at a maximum temperature of 40ºC, do not dry clean, iron at a cool temperature, and avoid tumble drying.

The printing technology used to manufacture this fabric is sublimation, which consists of transferring ink from sublimated paper to the fabric using heat and pressure. This process allows for high-quality printing, durability, and resistance to washing and wear.
