The base fabric is the Fine Water-Repellent Fabric - Storm, a technical woven type, composed of 100% polyester, with a weight of 70 gr/m2 and a width of 145 cm. Its solid printed color is a Spinach Green tone, with an ink content of Cyan 70, Magenta 42, Yellow 100, and Black 37, which translates to a CMYK of 70 42 100 37. This color has great symbolism, evoking nature, health, and tranquility. It is especially combined with neutral tones such as white, gray, and black, as well as shades of yellow, brown, and orange.
It is important to note that the base fabric is printed with the solid color on one side only by digital textile printing, which produces a uniform and quality appearance. The base fabric has characteristics such as its waterproof and water-resistant finish, as well as a soft and delicate texture to the touch. On the other hand, the printed color presents a smooth and uniform appearance, with great fixation and resistance to fading.
Among the applications and uses of the base fabric, fashion stands out, being ideal for making jackets for both men and women, as well as for manufacturing shower curtains within the home textile sector. Likewise, in the sports field, it is very useful for producing raincoats and jackets for men, women, and children, protecting from adverse weather during the winter season.
Regarding the care that should be taken for this fabric, it is necessary to avoid bleaching and dry cleaning, and limit the maximum washing temperature to 40ºC. It is recommended to iron at low temperature and not to expose the garment to the dryer.
Finally, the printing technology used in the manufacturing of the base fabric is sublimation, a process by which inks are converted into vapor by applying heat and integrated into the fabric fibers. This printing method allows for high quality and sharpness in color reproduction.
