Waterproof Fabric - Outdoor

The base fabric is the Waterproof - Outdoor Fabric, a technical fabric made of 100% polyester with a weight of 200 gr/m2 and a width of 150 cm. Its solid printed color is Ash Gray, with a CMYK of 23 17 18 1. This color is described as a mix of gray and brown, symbolizing the stability and reliability of nature. It combines very well with earthy tones and bright colors like yellow or green.

It is worth noting that the fabric is printed with the solid color on one side using digital textile printing, meaning that the color printing is done on only one side of the fabric and it is not a fabric dyed directly in the thread.

The general characteristics of the base fabric are its waterproof finish, its grainy and rough texture, and its opaque visual appearance. Waterproofing is a key property for outdoor and sports applications, such as trench coats, raincoats, or awnings. It can also be used for outdoor decoration, such as in cushions or tablecloths.

Regarding care, it is important to note that the fabric does not allow bleach or dry cleaning. It should be ironed at a cool temperature and cannot be tumble dried.

The printing technology used on this fabric is sublimation, which is done on polyester. With this technique, complex and detailed designs can be printed in high quality, and the result is durable and resistant to washing and daily use. Sublimation consists of transferring ink from a special paper printed with sublimation inks to the fabric by means of heat and pressure, achieving a high-definition and precise print.
