Waterproof Fabric - Outdoor

The base fabric of this textile is the Waterproof - Outdoor Fabric, made of 100% polyester with a grammage of 200 gr/m2. It has a width of 150 cm and is designed to be waterproof, with a granulated and rough finish to the touch, making it a perfect technical fabric for use in fashion garments such as trench coats or raincoats, as well as in decoration and home textile items, such as tablecloths or outdoor cushions. As for the solid printed color, it is a campanula blue defined by CMYK values of 57 59 16 2, printed with sublimation technology on polyester.

This secondary color is a fresh and relaxing tone, undulating between blue and violet, ideal for transmitting tranquility and serenity in those spaces or objects in which it is used. In addition, campanula blue combines perfectly with other shades of blue, such as navy, turquoise or sky blue, as well as with others that offer a more daring contrast, such as apple green or mustard yellow.

It is important to note that this fabric is printed with the solid color on one side by digital textile printing, which means that it has not been dyed but printed using this sublimation technology. Regarding the general characteristics of the fabric, it is important to highlight that it has a waterproof finish that makes it resistant to water, as well as a granulated and rough texture to the touch that gives it a rustic appearance.

Regarding the applications and uses of this fabric, in addition to those indicated above, it is ideal for the manufacture of outdoor garments such as anoraks or jackets, as well as in the production of bags or backpacks thanks to its resistance and durability. In addition, it is suitable for making curtains or blinds for outdoors due to its impermeability.

As for the care that should be taken into account for this fabric, it is recommended not to bleach, not to dry clean, iron at low temperature and not to use a tumble dryer. It is important to follow these recommendations to maintain the quality and properties of the fabric.

Finally, the printing technology used in this fabric is sublimation on polyester, a process by which ink is transferred by heat and pressure from printed paper to the base fabric, creating a durable and high-quality finish.
