Description

The base fabric of this textile is a brushed sweatshirt fabric called Boston, made of 100% polyester with a weight of 220 gr/m2. It has a width of 160 cm and is GRS certified, making it sustainable as it is made from recycled materials. The solid color printed on this fabric is a grayish red, as indicated by CMYK: 2 59 38 0. This secondary color is a blend of red and gray tones, making it a muted yet sophisticated color that pairs well with dark and neutral tones such as black, gray, and white.

It is important to note that the fabric is printed with the solid color on one side using digital textile printing, meaning it is not dyed but printed on one side, which ensures a uniform and sharp finish for the design.

Among the general characteristics of the base fabric, its brushed finish stands out, giving it a soft and pleasant texture to the touch. This fabric is ideal for making sweatshirts, toiletry bags, tracksuits, backpacks, and sports accessories for men, women, and children. It is a perfect fabric for the winter and autumn/winter season of this year 2021.

Regarding care, it is important to note that this fabric does not allow ironing and it is recommended not to bleach. The maximum washing temperature for this fabric is 40ºC and it can be dry cleaned except with trichloroethylene. It can be tumble dried at a reduced temperature.

Finally, the printing technology used to manufacture this fabric is sublimation (polyester), which consists of applying heat and pressure to the ink so that it turns into gas and adheres to the fabric. This technique ensures the durability of the design and the high-quality finish of the printed fabric.
