The Brushed Sweatshirt Fabric - Boston is a high-quality fabric composed entirely of polyester, with a weight of 220 gr/m2 and a width of 160 cm. Its color is a vibrant peach orange, obtained through the use of cyan 5, magenta 44, yellow 73, and black 0 inks, resulting in a CMYK of 5 44 73 0. This secondary color harmonizes perfectly with neutral tones such as white, black, and gray, but also with more daring shades like mint green and pastel pink. Its worth noting that the fabric is digitally printed with a solid color on one side.
The base fabric features a long pile characteristic, known as brushed, which makes it soft and warm to the touch. Additionally, it offers excellent resistance, durability, and is very easy to work with for both sewing and cutting. The printed color maintains the same quality as the rest of the fabric and does not lose its shade with exposure to washing or light.
This type of fabric is ideal for making sweatshirts, tracksuits, and toiletry bags for men, women, and children. It can also be used for crafting backpacks and other fashion accessories. The best seasons for its use are winter and autumn/winter of 2021. Furthermore, it has GRS certification, a guarantee of sustainability as it is a recycled fabric.
For care, it is important not to bleach the fabric, wash it at a maximum temperature of 40ºC, and do not iron it. Dry cleaning is allowed, although the use of trichloroethylene is not recommended, and it can be tumble-dried at a reduced temperature. With these care instructions, the fabrics quality will be preserved for a long period.
The printing technology used for the Brushed Sweatshirt Fabric - Boston is sublimation. This technique allows for high-quality, sharp, and well-defined prints, without leaving traces or marks. The process begins with mirror printing the image onto special paper, which is then placed on the fabric and subjected to high temperatures so that the image transfers from the paper to the fabric, thus creating a durable and resistant design.
