The base fabric is the Brushed Sweatshirt Fabric - Boston, a sweatshirt type, with a composition of 100% polyester and a weight of 220 gr/m2. Its width is 160 cm and it has GRS certification and is sustainable due to its recycling. The plain color printed on this fabric is presented in shades of white and OldLace, with a combination of cyan ink (1), magenta (4), yellow (12) and black (0), represented in CMYK 1 4 12 0. The secondary color of OldLace is a neutral tone that symbolizes elegance, sophistication and subtlety. It is a color that combines very well with earthy tones, grays and beige, creating a warm and cozy atmosphere. It should be noted that the base fabric is printed with the plain color on one side by digital textile printing and is not a dyed fabric.
The Brushed Sweatshirt Fabric - Boston features a brushed finish that gives it a soft touch and certain thermal capabilities to keep warm in cold weather. In addition, it meets all the technical specifications expected of a sweatshirt fabric, which makes it ideal for all types of garments such as sweatshirts, tracksuits and accessories such as backpacks and toiletry bags. It is also a very popular fabric in sports garments due to its great breathability and elasticity.
Regarding the care of the fabric, it is recommended to wash at a maximum temperature of 40ºC, avoid bleaching, dry cleaning except trichloroethylene and do not iron. Likewise, it can be tumble dried at reduced temperature. It is important to follow these instructions to ensure the durability and quality of the fabric in the garments that are made.
The printing technology used for this fabric is sublimation, a technique that allows direct printing on the fabric through a high-resolution printer using heat and pressure to fix the dyes in the polyester fiber. The advantage of sublimation is the great durability and fidelity in printing, which does not wear out or get lost with washing or prolonged use.
