The Brushed Sweatshirt Fabric - Boston is a sweatshirt fabric composed of 100% polyester with a weight of 220 gr/m2 and a width of 160 cm. This fabric features a brushed finish that gives it a soft and fluffy texture to the touch. The plain color printed on this fabric is a vibrant Opaque Cyan Blue, which is obtained by using Cyan, Magenta, Yellow, and Black inks in a proportion of 71, 16, 22, and 1 respectively, represented by the CMYK value of 71 16 22 1. This secondary color is versatile and combines perfectly with other shades ranging from brown and sand tones to gray and bright tones.
This fabric is printed with the plain color on one side by digital textile printing, which means that the fabric is not dyed but is printed with sublimation technology on polyester. The combination of the base fabric and the printed plain color creates a resistant, durable, and high-quality fabric with high performance in terms of softness, lightness, and breathability.
The general characteristics of the base fabric are its softness, resistance, and its ability to maintain its shape and texture even after washing. In addition, the fabric is sustainable as it contains recycled material and has GRS certification. On the other hand, the printed color is resistant to fading and loss of intensity thanks to its high printing quality.
This fabric is commonly used in the manufacture of sweatshirts for women, men, and children, as well as in accessories such as toiletry bags and backpacks. It is also used to make sports tracksuits. Due to its composition and characteristics, this fabric is an ideal option for winter and autumn/winter 2021 clothing.
The care that should be taken into account for this fabric is to rinse it before washing, wash it only in warm water at 40ºC, dry at reduced temperature, it allows dry cleaning except trichloroethylene, and do not iron.
Digital printing technology on polyester is a process that allows a digital image to be printed directly onto the fabric, using special inks that adhere to the polyester fiber. The result is a vivid and durable print that does not fade or wear easily.
