The base fabric is Oslo Elastic Tulle, composed of 94% polyester and 6% elastane, with a weight of 80 gr/m2 and a width of 147 cm. Its color is Cadet Blue, reflected in CMYK as 65 21 37 4. This color symbolizes tranquility, calm, and sincerity, and technically shows medium intensity, with a predominance of cyan and yellow tones, and less presence of magenta and black. It combines very well with earthy tones and light browns, as well as with gray tones. The fabric is printed with a solid color on one side by digital textile printing, which means that the fiber is not dyed, but rather the ink is printed directly onto it.
Regarding its general characteristics, the fabric presents a transparent visual texture, as well as a thin and elastic feel. These attributes make it ideal for lingerie garments, such as bras, briefs, bodysuits, and dresses, for both women and men. It is also suitable for making skirts, accessories such as stockings, and is a good option for childrens and bridal wear.
It is important to consider the care that should be taken with this fabric. It should not be bleached, it is recommended to wash at a maximum temperature of 30ºC, do not dry clean, do not iron, and do not tumble dry. Following these care instructions will allow the fabric to maintain its good condition and durability over time.
The printing technology used in the manufacture of this fabric is sublimation (polyester), which allows the ink to convert into gas and adhere to the fabric at a molecular level, ensuring greater durability of the printed color. In addition, the print quality is high and the details are very sharp. In summary, the Oslo Elastic Tulle stands out for its elasticity, transparency, and soft touch, and becomes a very interesting option for those sewing projects that require these characteristics.
