Se trata de un tejido con relieve y al ser impreso presenta fuerza de color en las fibras más externas quedando en su color natural las fibras internas. Puede presentar pequeñas trazas, hilos o borra dada su naturaleza reciclada y cuya aparición, aunque se de en un % bajo de ocasiones, es totalmente arbitraria e inevitable. |
The base fabric is Chanel Tweed, composed of 100% polyester with a weight of 420 gr/m2 and a width of 150 cm. The solid printed color is copper red with a CMYK of 24 67 63 14, which provides a warm and vibrant tone. This secondary color can be described as a burnt red with coppery reflections, symbolizing fire and passion. Copper red is usually combined with neutral colors such as white, beige, and gray, or with similar shades such as gold or orange, to create a harmonious contrast.
The fabric is printed with the solid color on one side by digital textile printing, which means that the ink penetrates the fiber of the fabric and air-dries. This allows for high image resolution and a wide spectrum of intense and durable colors. The texture of the fabric is stiff to the touch, which makes it resistant and suitable for outerwear, jackets, and blazers.

Among the most common applications and uses of Chanel Tweed are the making of jackets, blazers, coats, trench coats, skirts, dresses, bomber jackets, vests, shorts, Bermuda shorts, bow ties, hats, and cushions for living rooms, bedrooms, and kitchens. Its rigid and thick structure provides excellent protection against the cold in outerwear.
To maintain the quality of the fabric, it is recommended not to bleach, wash at a maximum temperature of 30ºC, and iron with a cool temperature. The fabric can be dry cleaned except for trichloroethylene and should not be tumble dried.
The printing technology used to produce this fabric is called sublimation, a technique in which heat and pressure are used to transfer the ink from special paper to the fabric fiber. This allows for high image quality and a wide range of colors without fading or loss of intensity. It is also an environmentally friendly technique, as it does not use chemical solvents.
