The base fabric is a polyester tweed with a weight of 420 gr/m2 and a width of 150 cm. The solid color printed is saffron orange with a CMYK of 1 40 96 0. It is a vibrant and energetic color that evokes the sun and warmth. This color combines very well with gray, brown, and green colors, creating a warm and natural color palette.
It is important to note that this fabric is printed with the solid color on one side by digital textile printing, which means it is not a dyed fabric but is printed directly onto the fabric surface. This gives the fabric a uniform appearance and greater wear resistance than if it were dyed.
Regarding general characteristics, the fabric has a rigid texture to the touch that gives it a feeling of robustness and durability. It is ideal for making jackets, blazers, coats, skirts, dresses, bomber jackets, vests, cushions, bow ties, caps, and even shorts or Bermuda shorts. This versatility is due to the fact that it is a fabric that adapts very well to different designs and styles.
The care instructions for this fabric are as follows: do not bleach, maximum washing temperature 30ºC, dry cleaning allowed except with trichloroethylene, cold ironing, and cannot be tumble dried.
The printing technology used to manufacture this fabric is sublimation on polyester. This technique consists of printing the image on special paper, which is placed on top of the fabric, and heat and pressure are applied so that the ink transfers from the paper to the fabric in gas form. This process ensures high quality and durability in the solid color print, maintaining the vibrancy and fidelity of the colors for a long time.
