Se trata de un tejido con relieve y al ser impreso presenta fuerza de color en las fibras más externas quedando en su color natural las fibras internas. Puede presentar pequeñas trazas, hilos o borra dada su naturaleza reciclada y cuya aparición, aunque se de en un % bajo de ocasiones, es totalmente arbitraria e inevitable. |
Chanel Tweed is a Tweed fabric weighing 420 gr/m2 with a composition of 100% polyester. Its width of 150 cm and its orchid pink color are achieved through the sublimation technique with CMYK values of 2 36 9 0. This color evokes a feminine and daring feeling, transmitting a sense of passion and romance. It combines perfectly with light tones such as white or beige, but can also contrast with darker colors such as black or brown.
The orchid pink color is printed on one side by digital textile printing, which allows the fabric to retain its stiff feel and original texture. The base fabric has high strength and durability, making it suitable for making fashion garments, such as jackets, blazers, coats, skirts, dresses, bomber jackets, vests, shorts and Bermuda shorts, bow ties, and accessories such as caps and cushions.
Regarding care, it is not recommended to bleach the fabric and it should be washed at a maximum temperature of 30ºC. It can be dry cleaned, except for trichloroethylene, and ironed at a cold temperature. It cannot be tumble dried.
Finally, the printing technology used to manufacture this fabric is sublimation, which consists of transferring ink from paper to fabric using heat and pressure. This technique allows for a solid and resistant color that does not fade over time and does not alter the original texture of the fabric. Single-sided digital textile printing is achieved by applying ink to the surface of the fabric through a print head that reproduces the digital image in high resolution.
