The base fabric is a polyester tweed with a weight of 420 gr/m2 and a width of 150 cm. Its base color is a cork brown with CMYK values of 18 29 61 5. This cork brown color is a warm and natural tone that conveys the elegance of classic Chanel. This color combines very well with other warm tones such as beige, yellow, and orange.
It should be noted that the fabric is printed with the plain color on one side by digital textile printing, which means that the fabric is not dyed but printed on one side to obtain this plain color.
The general characteristics of the base fabric are its rigid texture and its polyester composition. Its printed plain color has the following attributes: low saturation thanks to the low value of cyan ink, an intermediate tone thanks to magenta ink, and a high level of luminosity and warmth thanks to yellow ink. In addition, the low percentage of black ink prevents the color from looking dark.
Regarding the applications and uses of the fabric, highlights include jackets, blazers, coats, skirts, dresses, bomber jackets, vests, living room, bedroom, and kitchen cushions, as well as shorts, Bermuda shorts, bow ties, caps, and sports vests. This tweed is a versatile fabric that adapts to many garments due to its weight, resistance, and texture.
To care for this fabric, it is important not to bleach it, use a maximum temperature of 30ºC, and avoid dry cleaning with trichloroethylene. In addition, the fabric should be ironed at a cool temperature and should not be tumble dried to maintain the quality of the fabric.
The printing technology used to manufacture this fabric is polyester sublimation, a process in which the design is transferred to the fabric by heat, causing the colors to be fixed in the material. This allows for high image resolution and great durability of the color printed on the fabric.
