The Tweed - Chanel base fabric is a 100% polyester fabric with a weight of 420 gr/m2 and a width of 150 cm. The solid color printed on this fabric is Walnut Brown, whose CMYK is composed of 36% cyan, 47% magenta, 53% yellow, and 31% black. This color evokes a sense of elegance and sophistication, combining well with neutral tones such as white, beige, and gray, as well as with bolder tones such as red and dark green.
It is important to note that the fabric is printed with the solid color on one side using digital textile printing, which means that the color does not penetrate the fabric fibers, but rather is printed on the surface of the fabric.
In terms of general characteristics, the fabric exhibits a rigid texture and a strong feel, making it a resistant and durable fabric for making garments and accessories. Furthermore, the Tweed - Chanel base fabric has great versatility in terms of its applications and uses, from womens and mens fashion, such as jackets, blazers, coats, skirts, dresses, and bomber jackets, to home textiles such as cushions, both in the living room, bedroom, or kitchen. It can also be used in the making of shorts, bow ties, vests, and caps.
It is important to consider the specific care instructions for this fabric, which include not bleaching, washing at a maximum temperature of 30ºC, dry cleaning allowed except trichloroethylene, cool ironing, and avoiding tumble drying.
Finally, it is worth noting the printing technology used to manufacture this fabric, which is sublimation (polyester). Sublimation is a printing technique that consists of transferring the printed image through heat and pressure directly to the fabric, which produces a high-resolution and long-lasting image.
