The base fabric, Tweed - Chanel, is a tweed fabric made of 100% polyester, with a weight of 420 gr/m2 and a width of 150 cm. The solid printed color is Treviso Earth Brown, with a CMYK of 32 79 57 38. This color has an earthy and rich hue that combines very well with camel, beige, and dark green tones. It should be noted that the fabric is printed with the solid color on one side by digital textile printing, and it is not a dyed fabric.
Regarding the general characteristics of the base fabric and the printed color, we must highlight that the texture of the fabric is stiff to the touch. Regarding the printed color, its tone is uniform and wear-resistant.
The applications and uses of this fabric are very wide. It can be used in fashion for jackets, blazers, coats, skirts, dresses, blousons/vests, shorts/bermudas, and accessories such as bow ties and caps. It also has textile/home use in living rooms, bedrooms, kitchens, and outdoors for the manufacture of cushions. As for sports use, it can be used for vests for women, men, and children.
It is important to consider the care of the fabric, which includes: do not bleach, wash at a maximum temperature of 30ºC, allow dry cleaning, but not with trichloroethylene, and iron at a cool temperature. In addition, it cannot be tumble dried.
Finally, the printing technology used to manufacture this fabric is sublimation (polyester), which consists of printing an image on transfer paper using sublimation ink and transferring it to the fabric using heat and pressure. In this way, a detailed and durable print is achieved, resistant to wear and washing.
