Se trata de un tejido con relieve y al ser impreso presenta fuerza de color en las fibras más externas quedando en su color natural las fibras internas. Puede presentar pequeñas trazas, hilos o borra dada su naturaleza reciclada y cuya aparición, aunque se de en un % bajo de ocasiones, es totalmente arbitraria e inevitable. |
The base fabric for this textile is Tweed - Chanel, a tweed fabric composed of 100% polyester with a weight of 420 gr/m2 and a width of 150 cm. The solid color printed on this fabric is auburn red, with a cyan ink content of 24, magenta ink of 93, yellow ink of 82, and black ink of 19, resulting in a CMYK of 24 93 82 19. This secondary color symbolizes passion and dynamism, softened by a darker, earthy tone. This color pairs well with other earthy and neutral tones, such as beige, brown, and black. This fabric is printed with the solid color on one side using digital textile printing, meaning the print is applied to the outer surface of the fabric.
In terms of its general characteristics, Tweed - Chanel has a rigid texture to the touch, making it suitable for structured garments and accessories. The printed color is vibrant and durable, thanks to sublimation printing technology. This fabric is suitable for a wide range of applications and uses, such as jackets, blazers, coats, skirts, dresses, bomber jackets, vests, cushions, bow ties, caps, and sports vests.
Regarding fabric care, it is recommended not to bleach and to wash in warm water at a maximum temperature of 30°C. The fabric allows for dry cleaning, without trichloroethylene, and should be ironed at a cool temperature. It should not be tumble dried.
The printing technology used to manufacture this fabric is polyester sublimation, which uses sublimation ink to create a printed design on the fabrics surface. The ink is applied to transfer paper and then transferred to the fabric using heat and pressure. Sublimation is ideal for polyester fabrics because the ink chemically bonds with the fabric fibers, creating a durable and wash-resistant print.
