Se trata de un tejido con relieve y al ser impreso presenta fuerza de color en las fibras más externas quedando en su color natural las fibras internas. Puede presentar pequeñas trazas, hilos o borra dada su naturaleza reciclada y cuya aparición, aunque se de en un % bajo de ocasiones, es totalmente arbitraria e inevitable. |
The Tweed - Chanel base fabric is 100% polyester with a grammage of 420 gr/m2, it is rigid to the touch and has a width of 150cm. The plain printed color is iguana green, which is represented by a CMYK of 48 3 100 0. This color is characterized by its freshness, vitality and tropical touch, as well as being an energizing and relaxing color at the same time. Iguana green combines perfectly with colors such as brown, beige, gray, white, yellow and orange, achieving a balanced and harmonious effect in the design.
This fabric is printed with the plain color on one side by digital textile printing, which means that it is not a dyed fabric but printed on one side. On the other hand, its general characteristics are based on its rigidity to the touch and its grammage, which makes it ideal for making outerwear and home accessories, but it can also be used for making dresses and skirts.
Among the attributes of the base fabric, there are various applications and uses for this fabric such as making jackets, blazers, coats, skirts, dresses, bomber jackets and vests for men and women. In addition, it can also be used for making decorative cushions for the living room, bedroom and kitchen. On the other hand, it is also ideal for making shorts, Bermuda shorts, bow ties and caps, as well as for making sports vests.
As for the care that should be taken into account for this fabric, it is important not to bleach it and to follow a maximum washing temperature of 30ºC. Dry cleaning is allowed, except with trichloroethylene, and it is recommended to iron at a cool temperature. This fabric cannot be tumble dried.
Finally, the printing technology used to manufacture this fabric is sublimation, which is a digital process carried out by transferring ink through special paper to the base fabric. This process is carried out using a heat press that melts the ink into the fabric, creating a sharp and durable image on the surface. Sublimation is a technique that allows vivid and resistant colors to be created on synthetic fabrics such as polyester.
