Se trata de un tejido con relieve y al ser impreso presenta fuerza de color en las fibras más externas quedando en su color natural las fibras internas. Puede presentar pequeñas trazas, hilos o borra dada su naturaleza reciclada y cuya aparición, aunque se de en un % bajo de ocasiones, es totalmente arbitraria e inevitable. |
The Tweed - Chanel base fabric is a tweed fabric composed of 100% polyester with a weight of 420 gr/m2 and a width of 150 cm. The solid printed color is withered green with a CMYK mix of 65 31 72 14. This color represents a dark and elegant shade of green with yellow and brown undertones that, symbolically, evokes nature and elegance. This color pairs very well with neutral tones such as beige and gray, as well as with more vibrant tones such as oranges and yellows.
It should be noted that the printed fabric is a single-sided printed fabric using digital textile printing, which means that the printed color is on only one side of the fabric; it is not a dyed fabric.
The general characteristics of the base fabric are its rigid texture and its feel, which gives it a sophisticated and elegant look. In addition, it is resistant and durable, making it a suitable option for a wide variety of applications. These include jackets, blazers, coats, dresses, skirts, bomber jackets, cushions, bow ties, among others.
Regarding the care that should be taken into account, it is important to wash the fabric at a maximum temperature of 30ºC, do not bleach the fabric, iron at a cool temperature and avoid tumble drying. It is also recommended to avoid the use of trichloroethylene for dry cleaning.
The printing technology used to manufacture this fabric is sublimation, a process by which specialized ink is used to transfer a design to a fabric using heat and pressure, which allows for great precision in the reproduction of designs and colors. This technology allows for complex and rich designs in colors, which is ideal for fabrics such as Tweed - Chanel.
