Se trata de un tejido con relieve y al ser impreso presenta fuerza de color en las fibras más externas quedando en su color natural las fibras internas. Puede presentar pequeñas trazas, hilos o borra dada su naturaleza reciclada y cuya aparición, aunque se de en un % bajo de ocasiones, es totalmente arbitraria e inevitable. |
Chanel tweed is a polyester fabric, with a heavy weight of 420 gr/m2 and a width of 150 cm. The plain printed color is a uniform blue, whose CMYK content is 100-93-19-4, giving it a dark and deep tone. This color symbolizes stability, serenity, and trust, and combines especially well with earth tones, gold, and silver.
It should be noted that this fabric is printed with the plain color on one side only, using digital textile printing technology, which makes it a high-quality and resistant fabric.
The general characteristics of the base fabric are its rigid texture and its careful touch. In addition, its polyester composition guarantees its durability and wear resistance. This fabric is suitable for multiple applications, such as jackets, coats, skirts, dresses, cushions, caps, among others.
It is also important to note that the fabric must be cared for correctly to ensure its durability. It is recommended to wash at a maximum temperature of 30°C, do not use bleach, iron at a cold temperature, and it cannot be tumble dried. In addition, this fabric allows dry cleaning, except for trichloroethylene.
Finally, the printing technology used in this fabric is polyester sublimation, a technique that allows the transfer of inks to the fabric through heat and pressure, which guarantees color fidelity and precision in designs.
