The base fabric is Organic Viella - Moscow, a Viyella type fabric made of 100% organic cotton, with a weight of 140 gr/m2 and a width of 160 cm. The plain printed color is in white and bone tones, with a CMYK of 6 1 19 0, composed mainly of Yellow ink at 19%. This secondary color has a cheerful and radiant personality, combining perfectly with blue, gray and green tones, ideal for making garments for the summer season.
The fabric is printed with the plain color on one side by digital textile printing, which allows obtaining high-quality images with great definition, achieving depth and realism effects in the printed image. This form of printing does not affect the softness of the fabric, maintaining its soft texture to the touch.
Regarding the general characteristics of the base fabric, its softness to the touch stands out, which makes it a pleasant fabric in contact with the skin. In addition, it has GOTS certification, which guarantees its organic origin, making it sustainable. As for the plain printed color, the printing technique allows obtaining a solid tone, without blurring, which results in a homogeneous and uniform appearance in the printed fabric.
The applications and uses of this fabric are varied, as it is suitable for both clothing and home textiles. For making fashion garments, for both men and women, it is ideal for dresses and shirts. As for its use for home textiles, it is appropriate for making tablecloths, napkins and pajamas.
For the care of this fabric, it is recommended not to bleach it, wash it at a maximum temperature of 30ºC, iron it at a warm temperature and avoid tumble drying. Dry cleaning is also allowed, except with trichloroethylene.
The printing technology used for the manufacture of this fabric is reactive direct digital, a technique that allows printing on natural fiber fabrics, including cotton. This technique prints directly on the fabric, penetrating the ink into the fibers, which provides greater durability in the printed color and prevents the formation of cracks in the print over time.
