The Organic Viella fabric - Moscow is a type of viyella fabric made of 100% organic cotton with a weight of 140 gr/m2 and a width of 160 cm. The plain printed color is battleship gray, whose tonality is obtained by a CMYK combination of 48 in cyan ink, 37 in magenta ink, 39 in yellow ink, and 19 in black ink. Battleship gray is presented as an elegant and classic color, which works well in both modern designs and more traditional fashion pieces. In addition, this color combines very well with other organic tones such as beige, green, or blue.
It should be noted that the fabric is printed with the plain color on one side only by digital textile printing, which means that the ink penetrated directly into the fiber of the fabric, giving excellent color fixation; the color obtained is not a superficial dye, but is integrated into the fabric.
Regarding the general characteristics of the base fabric, it stands out for its soft texture, which makes it especially pleasant for clothing and lingerie pieces. On the other hand, it should be taken into account that Organic Viella - Moscow is a sustainable fabric and certified by GOTS. Its ideal season is summer, being appreciated for its freshness and lightness.
The applications and uses of this fabric are very varied, being suitable for womens or mens fashion, such as dresses and shirts, as well as being an excellent option for making decorative household items, such as tablecloths or napkins. It is also a good choice for making soft and comfortable pajamas and lingerie.
To maintain the quality of the fabric, it is necessary to take into account the recommended care, which includes not bleaching, washing at a maximum temperature of 30ºC, ironing at a warm temperature, and not tumble drying. Likewise, dry cleaning is allowed, except for treatments with trichloroethylene.
The printing technology used to manufacture this fabric is direct reactive digital, a technique that is respectful of the environment and allows reproducing the desired design on the fabric with great quality and precision. The process is based on directly printing the ink on the natural fiber of the fabric, fixing it by being subjected to high-temperature and pressure steam, which ensures good color fixation in the fabric during use and washing.
