The base fabric, Organic Cotton Voile - Cupid, is a light and soft voile fabric, made from 100% organic cotton with a weight of 80 gr/m2 and a width of 145 cm. Its plain printed color is Cadet Blue, which is a calm shade that transmits tranquility and security. This tone is achieved by a combination of CMYK inks, using 65% Cyan, 21% Magenta, 37% Yellow, and 4% Black.
The Cadet Blue color combines harmoniously with other pastel tones, such as beige, cream, or soft pink tones. In addition, it can also combine equally well with neutral tones, such as black, grey, or white.
The fabric is printed with the plain color on one side by digital textile printing, which means it is not a dyed fabric but is printed on one side. Therefore, the unprinted side is completely smooth and natural white.
The general characteristics of the base fabric are its softness, which makes it pleasant to the touch, and its thinness, which makes it light and breathable. These characteristics combined with the plain printed Cadet Blue color, make the fabric perfect for summer fashion, especially for making shirts, accessories, and bridal lingerie.
Among the attributes of the base fabric, its applications and uses in womens and mens fashion stand out, for making delicate shirts and accessories. It can also be used in the manufacture of bridal lingerie, thanks to its lightness and softness.
For the care of the fabric, it is recommended to wash it at a maximum temperature of 30ºC and not to use bleaches. In addition, it can be dry cleaned, except in the process with trichloroethylene. For ironing, it is recommended to do so at a warm temperature and it can be tumble dried at a reduced temperature.
The printing technology used to manufacture the base fabric is REACTIVE DIRECT PRINTING (NATURAL FIBERS), which consists of the direct application of reactive inks to a natural fiber fabric, thanks to the technology of the digital textile printer, which precisely controls the amount of ink applied. In this way, the Cadet Blue shade is printed with high quality and sharpness on the Organic Cotton Voile - Cupid fabric.
