The base fabric for this design is Raso - Amsterdam, a type of satin/raso composed of 100% polyester with a weight of 120 gr/m2 and a width of 150 cm. The fabric has a brilliant visual texture, with a smooth and delicate touch that perfectly highlights the digital printing done using the sublimation technique (for polyester). The print is of simple complexity with a drawn style and includes themes of pirates, skulls, and skeletons in predominant shades of night black, dark purple, and platinum gray.
This fabric combines perfectly with other solid colors such as white, gold, or silver, which gives it the flexibility to be used in various garments and accessories, from shirts and blouses to skirts and pants. The fabric is printed on one side by digital textile printing, which allows the design to remain vivid and bright with use.
In terms of general characteristics, Raso - Amsterdam has a silky and attractive appearance with excellent drape and a slight sheen. The design printed on the fabric is resistant to fading and wear, maintaining its vibrant appearance even after multiple washes. In addition, the fabric is soft to the touch and very pleasant to wear.
Applications and uses of this fabric include womens and mens fashion in pieces such as shirts, blouses, skirts, pants, tops, and jumpsuits, as well as in accessories such as scarves and kimonos. Raso - Amsterdam is also suitable for lingerie, including wedding dresses, pajamas, and evening dresses.
For its care, the fabric can be washed at a maximum temperature of 40°C and should not be bleached. It can be ironed at warm temperature and dry cleaned except with trichloroethylene. It can also be tumble dried at reduced temperature.
Finally, the printing technology used in the manufacture of this fabric is sublimation for polyester, a technique that allows the ink to penetrate deep into the fabric fibers to obtain a durable and high-quality print.
