The Lycra Polyester fabric, Nairobi, features a simply complex printed design, drawn style, with elements such as skeletons, heads, and pirates in main colors of night black, dark purple, and platinum gray. Solid colors that could complement this design could be shades of white, light gray, fuchsia, and orange.
Digitally printed on one side, the fabric is elastic, chlorine-resistant, and has very high UV protection 50+. The printed design presents a symbolic and nostalgic image with dark and slightly mysterious touches.
Regarding applications and uses, apart from those already described for lingerie, swimwear, sportswear, and fashion, this fabric would also be suitable for everyday wear and party clothing, such as dresses and blouses.
It is important to note that the fabric should be machine washed with cold water, and the use of bleach, tumble dryer, and trichloroethylene should be avoided when washing it. In addition, it should be ironed at a low temperature.
The printing technology used in the manufacturing of this fabric is known as polyester sublimation. In this process, the design is printed with sublimation ink on paper and then transferred to the fabric through a heat press. The final result is a vibrant and durable design that does not fade over time.
