The base fabric is a Velveteen Corduroy, also known as Dublin, composed of 85% polyester, 12% polyamide, and 3% elastane. Its weight of 280 gr/m2 and width of 150 cm make it ideal for decoration, upholstery, and fashion apparel. It has a soft texture and a bright visual appearance that makes it an elegant and refined fabric. This fabric is printed with a single-sided pattern using sublimation technology, which ensures high precision in the reproduction of colors and design details. The design features a simple complexity and a tropical style, with vector patterns representing plants and leaves from a forest. The main colors are multicolored and could be combined with plain fabrics in neutral tones or with some of the colors found in the design.
In terms of general characteristics, velveteen corduroy is a high-quality, resistant, and durable fabric, with a soft feel and an elegant drape. In addition, the printed design on the fabric is striking and colorful, making it ideal for decoration and fashion. Among the applications and uses of this fabric, highlights include upholstery for chairs, armchairs, and sofas, as well as the creation of trousers, overshirts, jackets, blazers, and bags. It can also be used for decorating sofas and cushions in bedrooms, living rooms, and kitchens.
Regarding care, it is important to follow the manufacturers instructions to avoid damaging the fabric. This velveteen corduroy should be washed at a maximum temperature of 30°C, should not be bleached or tumble dried. It should be ironed at a cool temperature and can be dry cleaned, but not with trichloroethylene.
Finally, the printing technology for this fabric is sublimation, which uses special inks to print the design onto the fabric fibers. This process is carried out using a high-resolution digital textile printer, which prints the design directly onto the fabric and fixes it with heat to ensure great durability.
