The base fabric for this design is the Sarga Bielástica - Lisboa, composed of 97% polyester and 3% elastane, with a weight of 209 gr/m2 and a width of 150 cm. This fabric has a rough and elastic texture, with a soft touch and is suitable for applications such as fashion (trousers, skirts, jeans, etc.), accessories, home textiles (cushions, napkins, kitchen towels, etc.) and decoration (frames, pictures, outdoor and bedroom cushions, etc.).
The printing technology for this fabric is sublimation (polyester), and in this case, a decorative and vintage printed design with floral elements and artistic multi-colored flowers has been used. This design can be combined with solid colors in pastel shades for an elegant and discreet result, or with stronger tones for a vibrant and modern result. It should be noted that the fabric is printed on one side using digital textile printing.
Regarding care, it is recommended not to bleach, wash at a maximum temperature of 30ºC, it can be dry cleaned (except with trichloroethylene), iron at low temperature and do not tumble dry.
Finally, the sublimation printing technology consists of the transfer of ink by heat so that it adheres to the fabric and turns into gas, penetrating the fibers of the fabric and ensuring a durable and bright print. The advantages of this technology are the possibility of using infinite colors, maintaining the soft touch of the fabric and resistance to washing and wear.
