The base fabric for this design is the Hydrophobic Antibacterial Fabric - Tromso, a technical fabric made of 100% polyester. It has a weight of 160 gr/m2 and a width of 150 cm. This fabric stands out for its hydrophobic and antibacterial finishes, making it perfect for use in fashion and outdoor decoration, such as sun loungers and cushions.
The printed design of this fabric is characterized by its black and white style, with a floral drawing that adds a natural and floral touch. The main colors of the design are multicolored, allowing it to be combined with plain fabrics of different colors, such as black, white, green, pink, and yellow. This fabric is digitally printed on one side, so it is important to note that it is not a double-sided printed fabric but printed on one side only.
Regarding general characteristics, the texture is rough and has a pleasant feel. The waterproof and antibacterial finish makes it resistant to moisture and bacteria, which is ideal for use in outdoor spaces in contact with the skin. Additionally, it is easy to care for thanks to its resistance to dry cleaning.
Among the most common applications and uses of the Hydrophobic Antibacterial Fabric - Tromso are fashion, accessories, decoration, and home textiles. In fashion, it is perfect for making pants, backpacks, wallets, and coin purses. In decoration, it is used for frames, paintings, tablecloths, and cushions. It is also ideal for outdoor use on sun loungers and cushions.
It is important to note that this fabric should be washed at a maximum temperature of 60°C and should not be bleached or tumble dried. It can be ironed at a warm temperature and is suitable for dry cleaning, except with trichloroethylene, which can damage the fabric.
Finally, the printing technology used in the manufacturing of this fabric is sublimation (polyester), which allows for high quality and definition in digital textile printing. Thanks to this technology, a durable and washing machine-resistant result is achieved, without losing the quality of the printed design.
