Glasgow fabric is a resistant fabric of 380 gr/m2, composed of 93% polyester, 5% viscose and 2% elastane. Its printed design, with an abstract watercolor and artistic style, stands out for its complexity and simplicity at the same time. The main colors that predominate in this design are multicolored, which allows it to be combined with a wide range of plain tones. This fabric is printed with the stamped design on one side by digital textile printing, which gives it a high print quality and great detail sharpness.
The base fabric has a soft and pleasant texture to the touch. It is ideal for making winter and autumn/winter garments, such as coats, trenches, jackets, vests and blazers, as well as for making decorative elements in home textiles, such as coasters and kitchen towels. In addition, this fabric is suitable for making altar cloths.
Care for this fabric is simple, bleaching and dry cleaning should be avoided. For the care and maintenance of garments made from this fabric, it is recommended to wash at a maximum temperature of 40ºC, iron at a warm temperature and avoid tumble drying.
Finally, the printing technology used in this fabric is sublimation, which consists of applying high temperature and pressure to transfer the printed design on special paper to the base fabric. This type of technology allows for exceptional color fidelity in the stamped design and results in a durable and wear-resistant print.
