Polyester Lycra - Nairobi is a stretchy fabric of 270gr/m2 with a composition of 82% polyester and 18% elastane. This fabric is designed with a multicolored print featuring plants, petals, flowers, and roses, giving it a natural and decorative touch. Additionally, due to its wide range of colors, it combines perfectly with other solid tones. This fabric is printed on one side using digital textile printing, so the print quality is excellent.
Among the general characteristics of the fabric, we can highlight its soft texture and elasticity, which makes it perfect for close-fitting garments. On the other hand, it has a chlorine-resistant finish and a very high UV protection factor, making it an ideal choice for swimwear and sportswear.
The Nairobi Polyester Lycra fabric has various applications, with lingerie and swimwear being the most prominent. It can also be used in sportswear such as leotards, tights, leggings, and bikinis, for women, men, and children. Thanks to its durability and resistance, this fabric is suitable for any season of the year.
Regarding the care instructions, it is recommended not to bleach the fabric, wash at a maximum temperature of 40ºC, avoid the use of trichloroethylene in dry cleaning, iron at a cool temperature, and do not tumble dry. If these instructions are followed, the fabric will remain in perfect condition for a long time.
Finally, the printing technology used to manufacture this fabric is polyester sublimation. This means that liquid ink is used, which transforms into a gaseous state and then adheres to the polyester fiber through heat and pressure. In this way, the print does not fade over time and remains intact for a long time.
