The base fabric is a Glasgow cloth composed of 93% polyester, 5% viscose, and 2% elastane, with a weight of 380 gr/m2 and a width of 150 cm. This soft and textured fabric features a fruit print design, primarily oranges, with touches of sun yellow and midnight black, created using sublimation technology. The design is digitally printed on one side of the textile. The combination of the main colors creates a vibrant contrast that stands out in this winter and autumn/winter 2021 season.
In terms of general characteristics, Glasgow cloth is a resistant and durable fabric, suitable for outerwear such as jackets, vests, and blazers, or even for textile/home use, to create coasters or kitchen towels. Furthermore, the fruit design adds a playful and fresh touch to any garment or textile project in which this material is used.
Regarding care, it is recommended not to bleach, wash the garment at a maximum temperature of 40ºC, iron at a warm temperature, and do not tumble dry. Dry cleaning is not permitted.
The printing technology used for this Glasgow cloth is sublimation, which involves printing the design onto a transfer paper sheet and transferring the ink onto the fabric using heat and pressure. This process allows for the reproduction of photorealistic images and excellent design fixation on the fabric.
