The fabric we are discussing is the Cotton-Feel Jersey Knit – Atenas, a soft, stretchy knit fabric with a composition of 81% polyester, 15% acrylic, and 4% elastane. Its weight is 239 gr/m2 and its width is 150 cm. Regarding its printed design, it features nature motifs, with plants, petals, and artistic flowers in multicolored tones.
The combination of the design with the fabrics own colors, which are also soft and subtle, creates a balanced and visually pleasing effect. Additionally, it could be combined with other soft plain tones such as white, cream, or pale pink.
It is worth noting that the fabric is digitally printed with the design on one side only, which means the design is only found on one face of the fabric.
In terms of general characteristics, the fabric is soft to the touch and very elastic, making it comfortable and adaptable to different types of garments and uses. The design, meanwhile, conveys a sense of freshness and nature, and the multicolored tones ensure it is easy to combine with other garments or accessories.
As for the applications and uses of the fabric, in addition to those already mentioned, this fabric can be used for knitwear, tops, dresses, cardigans, socks, scarves, shawls, blankets, and napkins. This wide variety of uses is due to the elasticity and softness of the fabric, which make it suitable for a wide range of garments and household items.
It is important to note the specific care instructions for this fabric: do not bleach, and its maximum washing temperature is 30ºC. Additionally, it can be dry cleaned (except trichloroethylene), and it can be ironed at a cool temperature. Tumble drying is not recommended.
Finally, the printing technology used to manufacture this fabric is sublimation (polyester), which allows for printing detailed designs with vivid and long-lasting colors. The technique involves printing the design onto sublimation paper and then transferring the print to the polyester fabric using heat and pressure. This process ensures a high-quality and durable finish.
