The fine water-repellent Storm fabric is a technical fabric composed of 100% polyester, with a weight of 70 gr/m2 and 145 cm wide. Its printed design features an abstract and watercolor style, with multicolored tones that give it a vibrant and attractive touch. It combines especially well with plain colors such as black, white, or gray, which allow the design to stand out and create interesting contrasts. It should be noted that the fabric is printed with the stamped design on one side by digital textile printing.
Regarding the general characteristics of the fabric, we can highlight that it has a waterproof finish and is water-repellent, which makes it ideal for fashion garments and accessories, especially jackets and raincoats for men, women, and children. In addition, thanks to its thin and smooth texture, it is also perfect for shower curtains in the home. On the other hand, the printed design stands out for its abstract and watercolor style, with multicolored tones that bring a fresh and youthful image to the garment or accessory.
Regarding the applications or uses of the fabric, in addition to those already mentioned, it can be used for winter sports clothing and jackets or coats for men and women. It is also ideal in home textiles, for example for shower curtains. In general, it can be used in any application where water resistance is required.
The care of this fabric is relatively simple. It should not be bleached, the maximum washing temperature should not exceed 40º C, it is not suitable for dry cleaning, it should be ironed at a cool temperature, and it cannot be tumble dried.
Finally, the printing technology used to manufacture this fabric is sublimation (polyester), a technique in which the design is transferred to the fabric through the change of state of a solid dye to gas, without passing through a liquid state. This process has the advantage of offering high image quality, fade resistance, and great durability.
