The Lycra Polyester fabric - Nairobi is an elastic and resistant fabric, composed of 82% polyester and 18% elastane, which gives it a soft and pleasant texture and feel on contact with the skin. It has a weight of 270 gr/m2 and a width of 150 cm, making it suitable for a wide range of applications. Its sublimation printing technology stands out, resulting in sharp and durable prints on one side of the fabric.
The printed design of this fabric is marked by a floral and decorative aesthetic, with drawings of roses, wildflowers and artistic flowers arranged in a very striking and attractive multicolor style. This design would allow easy combination with a wide range of plain colors, such as white, black, fuchsia, turquoise or green. The fabric, printed with this design, has additional attributes that make it especially suitable for sports and swimwear, as well as for making lingerie and fashion garments.
Among the most relevant characteristics of Polyester - Nairobi, we find that it is chlorine resistant and has very high UV protection, which makes it suitable for outdoor use. On the other hand, its elasticity stands out, which makes it a comfortable and adaptable fabric to the body. As for the colors of the design, the complex and vibrant tones that add a touch of elegance to any garment stand out.
The fabric has a wide range of applications, such as making lingerie, sportswear, swimwear or fashion garments, thanks to its elasticity and resistance. It can also be used for making flags and decorations for events. It is important to note that this fabric requires special care, such as not bleaching, not tumble drying and ironing at low temperatures.
Sublimation printing technology is a technique that uses the combination of temperature and pressure to transfer ink to the fabric. The result is a high-quality image that becomes part of the fabric itself, which gives it greater durability and resistance. In this way, great precision in design details, greater color depth and good integration of patterns into the fabric itself can be achieved.
