The base fabric is a high-quality cloth, called Glasgow, composed of 93% polyester, 5% viscose, and 2% elastane. With a weight of 380 gr/m2 and a width of 150 cm, this fabric is perfect for use in outerwear such as jackets, vests, blazers, and coats, as well as in textile home items like coasters and kitchen towels. The fabric has a soft and pleasant texture to the touch, making it very comfortable to wear.
The printed design on this fabric is artistic in style and inspired by nature, featuring a vector pattern of multicolored sunflowers as protagonists. This design is a metaphor for the light and joy of the sun in the field and can represent the warmth and optimism we want to convey in our clothing and textile accessories. The colors used in the design are predominantly multicolored, which gives it a sense of vitality and dynamism. Due to its versatility, this fabric can be combined with smaller prints and solid colors that highlight the sunflower or any other complementary color the designer deems appropriate.
The fabric is printed using a sublimation technique through digital textile printing, meaning the design is printed on only one side of the fabric, which increases its image quality and reduces the risk of the design fading. It is important to note that this fabric is printed on one side only and, therefore, must be carefully handled to preserve its quality.
The general characteristics of the fabric and the printed design are of high quality, with a soft texture that gives it a feeling of comfort and an attractive visual appearance. In addition to the previously mentioned uses, this fabric can also be used in home decoration items, such as cushions, curtains, and tapestries, as its attractive design can bring a burst of color and vitality to the environment.
Regarding the care of this fabric, it is recommended to wash it at a maximum temperature of 40ºC and iron it at a warm temperature, avoiding bleaching and not allowing dry cleaning or tumble drying. It is important to follow these recommendations to ensure a long life for the fabric and the design.
Finally, the digital textile printing technology used to produce this fabric is sublimation, which consists of transferring ink from paper to fabric through the application of heat and pressure. This process allows the design to penetrate deeply into the fibers of the fabric, giving it high durability and resistance to washing and daily use, as well as excellent image quality.
