The Satin - Amsterdam fabric is a 120 gr/m2, 100% polyester satin with a width of 150 cm and a composition that is both resistant and soft to the touch. Its printed design features animals, specifically butterflies, and comes in a predominant cotton white hue with lavender purple and seaweed green details. The design is very simple in complexity and is clearly oriented towards childrens motifs. Furthermore, it can be combined with other plain colors such as purple, green, pink, or even black.
This fabric is digitally printed on one side, which gives it exceptional definition and quality in the details and shades of the drawing. In terms of its general characteristics, the fabric has a brilliant visual texture and a smooth, delicate feel, thanks to its satin structure. Additionally, it is a thin and flexible fabric ideal for fashion garments such as blouses, tops, skirts, or pants, as well as dresses and kimonos. It can also be used for making lingerie, pajamas, or even bridal wear.
Regarding its care, it is important to note that the fabric should not be bleached and should be washed at a maximum temperature of 40ºC. It can be tumble dried at a reduced temperature and ironed at a warm temperature. Dry cleaning is recommended, with the exception of trichloroethylene.
Finally, the printing technology used to manufacture this fabric is sublimation on polyester, a technique that allows for the reproduction of high-quality and durable designs and colors on polyester fabrics. Furthermore, as it is an on-demand printing process, it is a more ecological and sustainable method than traditional mass printing.
