The fabric in question is the Tromso Antibacterial Water-Repellent Fabric, which is a technical fabric composed of 100% polyester with a weight of 160 gr/m2 and a width of 150 cm. This fabric has water-repellent and antibacterial properties, making it ideal for manufacturing products that require high resistance to water and the accumulation of bacteria, such as fashion accessories, wallets, toiletry bags, tablecloths, cushions, backpacks, and purses, among others.
Regarding the printed design, it is characterized by its very simple complexity, with animal motifs (specifically, butterflies) and a childlike focus that makes it suitable for products aimed at young children. The design features three predominant colors: cotton white (78.13%), lavender purple (9.43%), and algae green (6.21%). The combination of these colors with other plain colors will depend on the specific application and use of the fabric, although options such as black, gray, pink, or orange could be suitable.
It is important to note that this fabric is printed with the stamped design on only one side using digital textile printing. In terms of its general characteristics, the fabric presents a rough texture and a resistant feel, making it durable and suitable for products that need to withstand daily use. Furthermore, as already mentioned, its composition gives it water-repellent and antibacterial properties, which makes it particularly resistant to water and the accumulation of bacteria.
Regarding its care, it is important to note that this fabric cannot be bleached or tumble dried. It should be washed at a maximum temperature of 60ºC and allows dry cleaning except for trichloroethylene. It is recommended to iron at a warm temperature to avoid damage to the fabric.
Finally, the printing technology used in the manufacturing of this fabric is sublimation (polyester), which allows the designs to be permanently bonded to the fabric fibers, providing a high-definition and quality result.
