Esta referencia de tela está fabricada a partir de botellas de plástico reciclado PET e hilo de poliéster reciclado, por lo que puede presentar pequeñas trazas, hilos o borra dada su naturaleza reciclada y cuya aparición, aunque se de en un % bajo de ocasiones, es totalmente arbitraria e inevitable. También presenta unos indices de encogimiento relevantes que pueden oscilar entre un 4-9 % de encogimiento a lo largo del tejido y un 2% al ancho en función de la pieza. |
The Recycled PET Canvas - Dallas is a resistant and sustainable fabric, composed entirely of recycled polyester and with a weight of 260 gr/m2. This fabric has a rough and rigid texture to the touch, as well as a visual opacity that makes it ideal for decorative applications and fashion accessories. The printed design is geometric in style with a vector pattern, where Day Blue (53.55%) and Cotton White (40.05%) predominate, accompanied by a small tone of Medium Blue (2.5%). This combination of soft tones makes the fabric easy to combine with other solid colors such as black, gray, beige, among others. It should be noted that the fabric is printed with the stamped design on one side by digital textile printing, which means that we can only appreciate the design on one side of the fabric.
In terms of general characteristics, the Recycled PET Canvas - Dallas is a sustainable and resistant fabric, ideal for making fashion accessories, interior decoration and upholstery. For its part, the stamped design, with its geometric pattern and vector style, adapts to a large number of current decoration and fashion projects.
Regarding the applications and uses of the fabric, in addition to those mentioned (decoration, fashion and upholstery), we can add the manufacture of toiletry bags, purses, baskets, frames and aprons. It should be noted that, being a resistant and durable fabric, it is ideal for projects that require a high degree of resistance and solidity.
It is important to take into account the care of the Recycled PET Canvas - Dallas, where it is recommended to wash at a maximum temperature of 30ºC, do not bleach, iron at a cold temperature and, in case of dry cleaning, use appropriate solvents. In addition, it can be tumble dried at a reduced temperature.
Finally, the printing technology with which this fabric is manufactured is polyester sublimation, a process that is used to print on fabrics that contain a high percentage of polyester. This technique consists of the transfer of a digitally printed image through heat and pressure onto the fabric. Polyester sublimation allows high quality and resistant designs to be obtained, thus guaranteeing a durable and high quality finish.
