The base fabric used is a cloth called Paño - Glasgow, composed of 93% polyester, 5% viscose, and 2% elastane, with a weight of 380 gr/m2, width of 150 cm, suitable for making outerwear. The printed design has been applied using sublimation technology, which involves printing ink directly onto the polyester component of the fabric using heat and pressure. The design consists of abstract brushstrokes and smudges in white, sky blue, and plum purple tones, evoking a pictorial and modern art style.
This printed cloth fabric is ideal for womens and mens winter and autumn/winter 2021 outerwear, whether for making coats, trenches, jackets, vests, or blazers, thanks to its remarkable soft touch and texture. It is possible to combine this fabric with solid colors such as black and gray for greater contrast.
Among the main characteristics of this fabric are its high quality and resistance, granting it long durability and wear resistance. Regarding the design attributes, its artistic, modern, elegant, and innovative style is worth mentioning.
Regarding the applications and uses of the fabric, its use in other sectors such as decoration, as altar cloths, or in home textiles for making kitchen cloths and coasters stands out. Furthermore, thanks to its resistance to use and washing, it is ideal for haute couture and fashion stores.
As for the care required for the fabric, it should not be bleached or dry cleaned. Machine washing in short cycles with a maximum temperature of 40ºC and warm ironing are recommended. It is also not suitable for tumble drying.
For printing this design on the fabric, sublimation technology (polyester) has been used, which consists of applying ink through digital textile printing, which can be manufactured on one side only, as is the case with this fabric. The printing of this design is carried out through a hot transfer process that permanently fixes the pattern on the fabric and makes it resistant to the passage of time.
